Common questions

No. Naltrexone, the active ingredient in Onir, is non-addictive and non-habit-forming. It has been FDA-approved for treating alcohol use disorder for over 30 years.

No. Onir supports however you want to change your relationship with alcohol, whether that's drinking less on weeknights, taking a longer break, or stopping completely. Your clinician will build your plan around your goals, not ours.

Most medications are fine, but naltrexone is not compatible with opioids. Your clinician will review your full medication history before prescribing.

Yes. Your assessment is seen only by your licensed clinician. We never sell your data, never share with insurance, and never contact your employer or primary care doctor unless you ask us to.
